KleinvleiHeritage Day 2010

          The residence of Kleinvlei in Eerste River, celebrated Heritage Day on Friday, 24 September in a happy fashion on the Kleinvlei Sports grounds.

On that specific day, respect was given to our Koi and Bushman fore fathers. The day was filled with lots of praise and pleasure. On that day various local speakers spoke to the fold to educate and inform them of the Koi and Bushmans heritage day.

Khoi-Almeida Confrontation Symposium

          "The Portuguese looked down on the 'savages' of the African continent, but they paid dearly for their arrogance when Francisco de Almeida, Viceroy of Portuguese India, was returning to Portugal in 1510. When his crew kidnapped some Khoi children al Table Bay to force the people to bring cattle for barter, the Khoikhoi launched a full size attack on the cream of the Portuguese nobility, killing fitly of the crew, including Almeida himself."
