Jeremy Troy September
Jeremy Troy September's interest in his identity arose after his involvement in the liberation movement during the late eighties. It was after the 1994 election that the term coloured was not acceptable for him any longer.

September was then inspired to join the CCHDO (Cape Cultural Heritage Development Organization)/Khoisan Movement.

He was elected as Headman under the leadership of the late Chief Harlene Sassman of the Ghorachoqua Traditional Council in 1995. He serves currently as advisor and coordinator to the Ghorachoqua Traditional Council.

His interest in discovering the truth of the past led him to many interesting people of indigenous, academic, cultural and heritage background.

September’s exposure to Rock Art and its value in contemporary society led to a creation of an organization/campaign called CURAA (Community Upliftment through Rock Art Awareness), which aims to conscientise the youth and various communities about the significance and value of the Khoikhoi and Bushman Peoples’ heritage, ancient wisdom and spirituality.

Professionally he worked for the Government Printers for 11 years until 1997 during which time he did extensive informal research regarding Khoikhoi history. Until recently he formed part of a sales/marketing team in the fitness industry.
